• Family Fun Area
Bring your family to the Family Fun Area at Codorus Blast. Enjoy free performances on the family fun stage including dance acts and exercise demonstrations and more! Performances will take place throughout the weekend when the bands are not performing at the Bandshell.
Also at the family fun area: take time to cool off with the water wars, enjoy a laser tag arena, participate in fire prevention demonstrations by local fire companies through the weekend and watch professional wood carving demonstrations.
• Kayak Program
Participants will be able to paddle the kayaks within the Main Launch Cove area of Lake Marburg for roughly 30 minutes, with experienced paddlers and guides to help them. Children may participate either by paddling their own kayak, if able, or by using a two-person kayak with a parent.
All participants must sign a waiver of liability. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature.
• Civil War Reenactors of Hanover
Come check our the Civil War Reenactors of Hanover as they demonstrate Civil War era activities. Various activities will be going on throughout the weekend at the Civl War encampment area.
• Renaissance Emcampment
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a non-profit, international, living
history group with the aim of studying and recreating mainly Medieval
European cultures and their histories before the 17th century.
Members of the SCA study and take part in a variety of activities,
including combat, archery, equestrian activities, costuming, cooking,
metalwork, woodworking, music, dance, calligraphy, fiber arts, and much
more. If it was done in the Middle Ages or Renaissance, odds are you'll find
someone in the SCA interested in recreating it.
